Developed with Resonance Technology Pty Ltd. The AG2 is still in development and is building on the success of the first generation AAG. Designed to go deeper, faster (& slower), powered down a cable or self-powered via a turbine, the AG2 was the future of acoustic mine sweeping.
The original AAG was developed in the late 1990’s. It was a very sophisticated underwater acoustic device (ie loud speaker) used by defence forces around the world. The AAG was a mine countermeasure used to trigger (ie detonate) underwater acoustic mines. The AAG could be programmed (tonal or more complex algorithms) to make the noise of a ship.
